How It Works

Check Availability

Credits are reset daily at midnight UTC. Check that purchased credits are fewer than the total daily supply, and that the remaining credits are greater than what you intend to purchase. It's possible for users to buy more credits than the daily supply, in this case there is a risk that the daily credits may be used up before you get to using them.

Buy An API Key

Pick how many daily credits you want, and for how many days you'll want those credits. Then you'll buy an API key that grants access to the credits you purchase for the duration you specify. In this early app version, you should purchase for only a few days at a time incase any issues are arise during testing.

Store your API key

You'll need to sign a message that is used to securely encrypt, store, and decrypt your API key that is used to access your credits.

Decrypt and Use Your API Key

You can decrypt your API key by signing the same message used to encrypt it. Then you can use your API key to access any models offered by Venice AI, in any platform that supports OpenAI-compatible APIs.
